Registration is now open for (FREE) Adobe CFCAMP Australia. CFCAMP is a free, mini-conference for coldfusion developers by coldfusion developers celebrating the release of Coldfusion 8.

The planned dates are:

1. November 20th: Sydney
2. November 21st: Brisbane
3. November 22nd: Melbourne
4. November 27th: Perth

I had to create a few reports at work and here are the lessons we learnt:

1. It is very easy and simple to create good looking reports using the ColdFusion Report Writer.
2. You can even style your report using an external stylesheet.
3. Formatting the report is sometimes very frustrating and can take a long time.
4. There is not a lot of Report Builder documentation on the Adobe site. Its best to press F1 in ColdFusion Report builder to get help.
5. Lastly if you ever get a blank white screen in IE while trying to generate a FlashPaper report make sure you use the ‘Get’ method on the form.

1. Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration
2. Expand Eclipse SDK > C:eclipse
3. Right click on “CFEclipse (including CFUnit and Frameworks) 1.3.x.x

There should be a choice to ‘disable’ and ‘uninstall’.

You can find other developers and designers by technology and product expertise. Connect with other professionals to find answers, partners, and jobs. Locate (and possibly hire) developers who are certified on Adobe technologies.

You requires an Adobe ID to join.
